Our business is based mainly on special orders and requests. Please keep in mind that we work with recycled jeans and don't always have every size on hand. This can sometimes take time to find just that perfect size for your custom skirt. We can also work with jeans you already have.
A deposit is due at the start of your special order. Deposits run from $15.00 to $30.00, depending on style of skirt you desire. The remaining balance is due once your skirt is completed and approved by you. These payments are done securely through PayPal.
We are a small family run business that works around life. Sometimes we are able to create faster than other times. . .but as always, we strive to do our best in serving you in a timely manner and with uncompromising quality!
~How to Measure for a Custom Fitting Denim Skirt~
Not all clothing sizes are the same from company to company, so we do not use or go by the original size that the jean companies put inside each pair of jeans. This is why we depend solely on your measurements.
Because we all like to wear our denim skirts differently. . .some like their skirts high on the waist, some like it lower, and some like their skirts sitting on their hips. However you like your skirts to fit, you can determine this and keep your own personal measurements on hand, for special ordering or for any of our Boutique items for sale.
This is how we suggest to measure yourself so that we can insure you with a proper fitting custom skirt!
*Please note. . .these instructions are based on measuring an adult*
~Measuring the Waist Area~
-Lean your torso to one side, where it creases, this is your natural waist-line.
-If you wear your skirts on your waist, measure this area.
-If you wear your skirts just below your waist, (mid-rise), usually *1"-2" below natural waist-line, measure this area.
-If you wear your skirts on top of your hips, (low-rise), usually *3"-4" below natural waist-line, measure this area.
~Measuring the Hips~
-Place the tape measure around the fullest part of your hip area.
-This measurement is usually *7"-9" down from the natural waist line area.
~Length of Skirt~
-Measure from the side, starting at your prefered waist area, and go down to desired length.
